Our surrogacy program has certain basic requirements that must be met. To be considered as a surrogate with us, you must:
- Be a non-smoker and non-drug user.
- Fall within the age range of 20 to 39 years.
- Have experienced at least one successful live birth.
- Have no previous instances of significant pregnancy complications such as toxemia, pre-eclampsia, preterm labor, incompetent cervix, and pregnancy-induced hypertension.
- Be a U.S. citizen or have legal documentation such as a valid Green Card or Visa for the next three years.
- Maintain a BMI of 32 or below.
- You have not had more than two C-sections.
- You have good physical & mental health. No history of anxiety, bipolar disorder, or any other mental illness.
- You agree to psychological, drug & criminal screening.
- Must be financially stable.
- Have a strong support system.
- If married or in a relationship, have the support of your partner.
- Reside in a state that is favorable towards surrogacy. Please note that not all states allow surrogacy. If you reside in Alaska, Arizona, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska or Wyoming, which are considered risky or where surrogacy is illegal, Bliss Surrogacy cannot consider you as a potential surrogate.
- No criminal record. Bliss Surrogacy does not accept surrogates who have been convicted of a felony or whose partner has a felony conviction.
